Last term’s Town Hall was an important one. We went over some important issues around student safety and wellbeing in the Union Venues, and what we can do to combat the spiking epidemic.
Having reached an unusual end to an unusual term, capping off an unusual year – I have been given the very usual task of reflecting on how things have gone, and what I am looking forward to next term.
These last few months have been both crazy and exciting, with all our student groups enthusiastically getting back to in person activity, with matches, shows, conferences and competitions, as well as much more, all back in full swing.
At long last, the College have decided to roll out free period products across all campuses. Free products have now been distributed in one female and one gender neutral toilet in each building
It’s December and the holidays are fast approaching!
Over this Christmas period, it might be more difficult to stay connected with people due to COVID-19. Whether you’re at home over the holidays, or staying in London, we want to help you stay connected to the Imperial community!
The student voice was clear – with 2503 students voting, 1791 said that the Union should support the College’s staff who are striking in defence of their pensions. This is a binding result, and the Union now formally supports the strike action.
I’m currently writing this blog whilst dressed in three layers, sipping on a cup of hot green tea. As much as I do love the cold and the cosy feelings that this season brings, I can’t help but reminisce in mild horror at how quickly this term has flown by.
