We will be opening the position of Deputy President (Education) for the academic year 2021-22 in our Summer Elections. This follows the resignation of the successful candidate at the Leadership Election 2021.

This approach has been approved by the Union’s Governance committee, in line with our governing documents.
The position is open to all Imperial students (UG or PG) and the successful candidate will start their post on 19 July 2021 on a permanent basis until 31 July 2022. This is a full-time, paid role, with a salary of around £33,000 per annum.
The Deputy President Education is a critical role for the Union, it leads on representing Imperial students’ academic interests and on the academic representation network. The role is involved in shaping academic experiences of students and is integral to enhancing the student experience at Imperial working in partnership with key College staff, student reps, and the other elected officers.
